A wave of fresh energy is coming to the Texas Hill Country. Austin Curls is opening a new
location in Dripping Springs, continuing our commitment to curl care that is intentional,
educational, and rooted in respect. This expansion is not just about growth. It is about offering
more space for the kind of beauty work that honors the individual.
We chose Dripping Springs with care. Known for its strong community and slower rhythm, the
town reflects the very values Austin Curls was built on. A place where people care about what
they put in their bodies, what they put on their hair, and how they show up in the world. We knew this would be a home for what we do best.
A Space With History and Heart
The new studio is located at 2201 US Highway 290 West in a beautifully restored farmhouse
built in 1895. Originally part of a rural homestead, the building has been updated to meet the
needs of modern businesses while still honoring its architectural character.
The bones of the building speak to a slower time, when
care was built into every task. Now, that same energy lives again in the way we cut, hydrate,
and style curls.
Just like we do with curls, we took what was already beautiful and added what was needed.
Why Dripping Springs Was the Right Choice
Dripping Springs began in the 1850s with settlers drawn to its clear water and fertile land. Over time, it became known for its natural beauty, strong neighborhoods, and a pace that allows people to breathe.
In recent years, the town has grown, but its heart has stayed the same. People still wave to their neighbors. They shop local. They support small businesses that reflect who they are and what they care about.
